Jose Soriano allowed four earned runs and three hits over 1 2/3 innings in the Angels' 16-5 loss to the Twins on Saturday.

He also issued three walks and struck out one batter. This performance certainly didn't help his already middling season stats, pushing his ERA up to an unimpressive 4.76 and further inflating his WHIP to 1.37. Given his high FIP of 5.33 and a strikeout-to-walk ratio that leaves much to be desired, Soriano's reliability as a fantasy option remains questionable. Fantasy managers should be wary of using him in any but the deepest of leagues, as his current form suggests more turbulence ahead.
