Dylan Cease took the loss Tuesday, allowing three earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out eight over 5 2/3 innings against the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease's performance still showcased his ability to rack up strikeouts, maintaining a strong 11.1 K/9 rate. However, his ERA slightly rose to 2.45, and his WHIP remained impressive at 0.78. Fantasy managers should note that while Cease's BABIP of .197 suggests some luck, his high strikeout numbers and solid ratios indicate he remains a top-tier starting option in all formats.
