Eligibility
Tuesday’s Orioles-Blue Jays game has officially been postponed due to rain.
Fantasy Impact
With inclement weather in the area, the Orioles and Jays will schedule doubleheader to make up Tuesday’s game on July 29.
Kyle Bradish delivered a strong performance, allowing just one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out nine over five innings in Wednesday's 7-6 victory over the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact
Despite the high strikeout numbers and limiting the Nationals to minimal scoring, Bradish did not factor into the decision. His season ERA slightly rose to 1.86, but his impressive 13.0 K/9 and 2.22 FIP indicate that he remains a potent option for fantasy managers looking for strikeouts and quality starts. The lack of wins is a concern, but his ability to suppress runs and rack up strikeouts should keep him relevant in most fantasy formats.
Kyle Bradish delivered a solid outing against the Yankees, allowing just one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings in Thursday's 7-2 victory.
Fantasy Impact
Despite not factoring into the decision, Bradish's performance was commendable, especially considering the strength of the opposition and it was his first start off the IL. Bradish missed the first month of the season and spring training with a partially torn UCL. It was good to see the velocity was there on all his pitches and his slider induced six whiffs. Fantasy managers should be encouraged by this performance, but keep expectations in check as he builds up to working deeper into games. He'll look to keep the ball rolling in his next start against the Washington Nationals.
Baltimore reinstated Bradish from the IL and he will start Thursday's game against the Yankees at Camden Yards.
Fantasy Impact
Bradish was diagnosed with a sprained right UCL during Spring Training but was able to avoid surgery. The 27-year-old was one of Baltimore's top arms last season, recording a 2.83 ERA over 168.2 innings. He threw 77 pitches in his last rehab outing so he may be on a lighter workload to start.
Kyle Bradish (elbow) is expected to be activated later this week, per manager Brandon Hyde.
Fantasy Impact
Bradish is recovering from a right UCL sprain. Bradish pitched well on his rehab assignment and should start either the final game of the series with the Yankees, or one of the first two games against the Reds.
