Brandon Woodruff undergoes shoulder surgery

Brandon Woodruff underwent surgery to repair the anterior capsule in his right shoulder. He will miss most, or perhaps all, of the 2024 season. (Robert Murray on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Woodruff dealt with shoulder issues throughout the 2023 season and was limited to 67 innings. The issues came back up in his final start of the regular season and forced him to miss the Wild Card series vs the Diamondbacks. The 30-year-old will look to put these issues behind him for good after next season.
