A quad injury cost him plenty of time in the first half and he hit just .167 with one homer in 29 plate appearances at Triple-A while going hitless in four trips to the plate in the big leagues.

The 23-year-old Fermin was acquired in a trade with the Guardians this winter after he hit .215 with six homers, nine steals, and a 658 OPS across 90 games at Triple-A in 2022.
