Swanson could be activated as early as Tuesday. He figures to remain in a high leverage set-up role in the Blue Jays bullpen behind Jordan Romano who could also be activated on Tuesday.

Swanson got in his second minor-league rehab outing Thursday, throwing 17 pitches over 2/3 of an inning. The 30-year-old setup man said he was feeling good after the game, and now the expectation is that he will be back with the Blue Jays at some point in the coming days.
