Fantasy Impact:
The 76ers reportedly still view Maxey as a long-term core piece. They could be holding off on the extension to try and sign him to a max deal next offseason. Maxey has also found his name in trade rumors if Damian Lillard is traded, but those all continue to be rumors. Assuming he stays with the 76ers, his role should take a huge step forward with James Harden expected to be traded.
