Jared Goff has signed a contract extension with the Detroit Lions for 4 years worth up to $212 million. Goff is now the second-highest paid quarterback per year at $53 million, only behind Joe Burrow. (Jordan Schultz on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The Lions were able to secure their franchise quarterback for four more years. Goff finished last year as the QB7 overall after a healthy year. However, he only finished as QB13 in points per game among fellow quarterbacks with six or more starts. Goff has had solid production in the last two years, and remains a viable option in fantasy for both one quarterback and superflex leagues.
