Curtis Samuel
WR - Buffalo Bills
2024 Outlook
The Bills signed Curtis Samuel to a three-year, $30 million deal.
Fantasy Impact
Samuel figures to fill a role similar to what Gabe Davis held who left Buffalo in free agency. He'll likely be a WR3 with upside for fantasy managers, but he may be more valuable to the Bills from a real life standpoint.
Curtis Samuel caught two of his four targets for 15 yards and added a 15-yard rush in a 38-10 loss to Dallas in Week 18.
Fantasy Impact
Samuel was quiet in the regular-season finale. He finishes his third season in Washington with 62 catches for 613 yards and four touchdowns while adding seven carries for 39 yards and a rushing touchdown. Samuel will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so he may have played his last down with the Commanders.
Washington Commanders WR Curtis Samuel cropped up as a non-participant in Thursday's practice due to a hamstring injury.
Fantasy Impact
Samuel getting the mid-week downgrade is not a good sign, especially given rumors that the Commanders could sit some of their veteran options in Week 18. His Friday status should be monitored, but given the recent history of players with hamstring injuries, it seems unlikely as of Thursday that Samuel will play in Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Curtis Samuel caught 3-of-4 targets for 33 yards in the Commanders' 27-10 loss against the 49ers.
Fantasy Impact
It was a fairly quiet afternoon for the whole Washington offense outside of one drive. Samuel remains an upside WR3 play next week.
Curtis Samuel caught one of his six targets for 16 yards and added four yards on two carries in a 30-28 loss to the Jets in Week 16.
Fantasy Impact
Samuel was quiet just one week after he hauled in two touchdown passes against the Rams. That being said, he tied for the team lead with six targets. The speedy wideout will settle in as a low-end WR3 in Week 17's matchup against the 49ers.
