Mims reportedly showed out at practice on Thursday. He caught just 22 passes for 377 yards and one touchdown as a rookie last season. With the trade of Jerry Jeudy, Mims is in position to have a chance to step into a bigger role this season.

Mims will suit up after a one game absence due to a hamstring injury. The 21-year-old rookie has not factored into the offense much this season and can comfortably be left out of Week 18 lineups.

Mims Jr. has remain moderately involved in the Denver offense of late, seeing at least two targets in each of his last five games for the Broncos. The rookie wideout could see increased involvement if Courtland Sutton (concussion) remains sidelined for a Week 17 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Marvin Mims Jr. failed to catch either of his two targets while also rushing once for 11 yards in the Broncos' 42-17 Week 15 loss to the Detroit Lions Saturday night.

Mims Jr. has provided minimal output as part of the Denver passing offense of late, finishing with two receptions or less in each of his last five games for the Broncos. The rookie offers plenty of upside, but will need to receive more sizeable target share to reward fantasy managers with any sort of value, with a Week 16 contest against the New England Patriots up next.
